Greetings to our friends and family and our best wishes for a wonderful new year! 

The past year was an eventful one for our family with two weddings, a change of job, a new educational adventure and a couple of travel opportunities.

Chris & Dave

In June Dave transferred from the Huntsman School of Business at Utah State to a newly formed university group called Commercialization and Regional Development where he is now working to get university technologies into the marketplace.

Christine was admitted this fall into a PhD program at Utah State in the college of Family, Consumer, and Human Development.  She's working with a professor who is trying to find ways to prevent Alzheimer's and her goal is to finish the program before she is one of the patients being studied.

In July we were able to travel to Peru and enjoy Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and Lima.  Then we finished off the year with a family trip to Kauai.

Family Update

Kristin is living with us in Logan where she is attending USU and is a junior in early childhood education. 

Rebecca was married to her sweetheart Dan Jeppson on July 1, 2011.  In December Becca graduated from Utah State University with a degree in elementary education.  They live in Logan where Dan attends USU and works as a loan officer for Wells Fargo.

Steve and Laura are living in Orem, Utah.  Steve works at a data storage company called Xio and Laura works part time as a labor and delivery nurse.  They're expecting a little girl in three weeks.

Richard was married to Reina Forsythe (also his sweetheart) on Jan. 1, 2011.  Rich works at Xio with his brother Steve. Reina is taking time off from her work as a yoga instructor since they are expecting a baby boy any day now.  This is a photo with London, our granddaughter from Rich's first marriage.

Jennifer and Ben (Johnson) are in Detroit, Michigan, and Ben is flying with a regional airline called Pinnacle Air (a Delta affiliate).   They are expecting a baby in July who will join Daxton, Jacy, and Eli.

Emily and Joseph (Butler) are living with their children David, Thomas, Jenny, and Sam in Knoxville, Tennessee where Joseph works as a commodities trader for Pilot Oil Company.
